Opened in 2008, Bold City Brewery is a family-owned and operated microbrewery located in the Riverside section of Jacksonville, Florida. Brian and Susan Miller (no relation to Miller Brewing) were born and raised in Jacksonville and handle all of the marketing and day-to-day operations.
The Bold City beer selection is quite diverse with influences from Belgium, Great Britain and the United States. Some of the beer style offerings on tap include: Killer Whale Cream Ale, Fritz's Hefeweizen, E-St. Ale, Bold English Ale, Mad Manatee IPA, Chinook IPA, Duke's Cold Nose Brown Ale, 1901 Red Ale and Smokey Porter. Most recipes are based on Brian Miller's homebrews. Some of the Bold City Brewery seasonals include: O Coffee Stout, Pumpkin Ale, 1901 Red Ale, and White Ale. Bold City also brews an Amber Ale specifically for European Street Cafe restaurants called Lamp Post Ale.
Bold City Brewery features a Tap Room pub with red brick bar and small tables for group seating. Enjoy a pint or get growlers filled to go. Kegs available to order.
