Hi Everyone,

Hope all is well and Happy Thursday! WOW! What a wonderful way to celebrate an anniversary! Thank you to everyone who came out! Without your support we couldn’t do what we do! Even Susan Miller was inspired to write some words. Please see a message from Mom below:

“This past Saturday our Anniversary party was a blast!   I want to thank everyone that came out to support our 9 year celebration.

It is always amazing to me the love that you show our brewery.  Over and over again I was greeted by the same wonderful expression of appreciation.  I want you to know that we appreciate each and every one of you.

It reminds us that we are on the right track and to make sure we always stay true to who we are.

Wednesday - October 4th 2017

Hi Everyone,

Hope all is well and Happy Wednesday! Today is the Oktoberfest @ Art Walk in Beautiful Downtown Jacksonville. At 6pm, to kick off the celebration, they’ll be tapping a cask of German Chocolate Cake Duke’s Cold Nose Brown Ale. Bold City Downtown will have the German Chocolate Cake Duke’s Cold Nose Brown Ale on draft starting @ 6:30pm.

Tomorrow, at the Bold City Tap Room Rosselle we’ll be tapping the Eukanot wet hop ale that has been dubbed ‘The Greens’. This is a dry and refreshing pale ale full of juicy wet hop character. The Eukanot hops contribute aromas of tropical fruits & pine and flavors of citrus, papaya, & melon. It also just so happens that we got to brew this brew on the fall Equinox. Coincidence? Brew will be tapped @ 3pm.

Beer and Hymns will be happening tomorrow as well starting @ 7:30pm here @ the Bold City Tap Room Rosselle. Come out, sing some good ol' gospel hymns and enjoy some cold and delicious Bold City beer!

On Saturday night our friends the 77D’s will be here @ the Bold City Tap Room Rosselle to rock the night away.

Last but not least, Bold City Brewery’s 9 Year Anniversary Bash will be happening on October 21st. Save the date and more details to come!

Bold City Downtown Update:

We had a lot of fun brewing the Florida vs Georgia Orange & Peach pale ale with our friends from Arches Brewing last week. The fruit has been added and all the flavors are coming together beautifully. We’ll have this brew ready to go just in time for the bigweek(end)!

On Friday we’ll be tapping Brewer Alex’s Schwarzbier. This is a dark lager and really the best way I can describe it is the lightest dark beer I ever had. Super delicious and buzz word alert ‘sessionable’!

We’ll have the brew tapped before 3pm!

Here’s the beer’s that are on deck to be tapped @ Bold City Downtown:

  • Cowfish Rauchbock - Moderately strong, slightly smokey lager brewed for our friends @ The Cowford Chophouse. Brewed using Cherry, Apple and Beechwood smoked malts.
