Hi Everyone,

Hope all is well and Happy Thursday! Just a quick email to let you know what we’ve got going here @ Bold City Brewery.

This week we’re putting the final touches on our version of the Sierra Nevada Resilience Butte County Proud IPA. This is a brew that Sierra Nevada has come up with and asked any brewery willing to brew it, to do so. Well, we heard the call aka bat signal and this brew should be ready to tap next week. 100% of the proceeds of this beer will be donated to the camp fire relief fund, aimed at long-term community rebuilding support from the California wildfire. Thanks to Briess Malting and Hopsteiner Hops for donating the grain and hops for this wonderful cause. For more information on this brew click HERE!

Another brew that we’re excited to be brewing again is the Roxy’s Imperial Cream Ale. Many of you have been asking when we’ll be bringing this back and here you go. We’ll also be aging this year’s version in maple barrels! POW!

Bold City Downtown Update:

Tomorrow night, 1/11, we’ll have live music from Mark O’ Quinn. No cover charge just good tunes and good brew. His set will kick off @ 8pm!

We’ve got two brews that are close to being gone. The Make It So Earl Grey Tea Hazy Pale Ale and The Monster of Dusseldorf Doppelsticke Altbier are close to kicking the keg. Once those brews are done we’ll be tapping the 16-Bit Wit, which was brewed for the 1 year Anniversary for our friends at Keg n Coin. A Belgian style white ale with a blended yeast and peach purée added, ABV is 6.4%. The other brew ready to be tapped is Ominous Clouds, which is a DNEIPA double, dry hopped withHallertau Blanc and experimental hops HBC 462, ABV is 7.50%.

In other news, we just got our wine production license for Bold City Downtown so be on the lookout for meads and cider’s to be coming on tap soon!

  • IPA with muscadine grapes (collab w/ Congaree & Penn)
